Assignment #2

For this assignment, I attempted to recreate the work done the paper "A Model of Visual Adaptation for Realistic Image Synthesis" by Ferwerda et al. The paper was presented at SIGGRAPH 1996. Using the images provided by Professor Ferwerda, I tried to recreate the images from the paper. While I was able to make some images, I am not sure that they are correct. I found the paper a little hard to follow and understand exactly what was done by the authors. Anyway the following are my results are various luminance values.
